recipe binders

  Idea
Creative cooks find inspiration everywhere: books, magazines, the web, handwritten notes from family and friends, even photographs of great meals they've had. With so many resources, the hardest task isn't choosing what to make, but where to store all these treasures – and find them when you need them.

russell+hazel has a simple solution to suit every gourmet: the russell+hazel Recipe Binder set. Sort all your favorite meals into these twin 3-ring Slim Binders, half of your recipes in one binder, half in the other. Now your masterpieces are always at hand, and protected for generations to come.

Set includes:
- 2 slim binders (in white/charcoal or blue/red)
- Section tabs & measuring equivalents
- Recipe Pages, 40 pages
- Recipe cards, 50 cards
- Menu Planning Sheets, 60 pages

  Put It Together
1. Cut, print or write out your recipes and any special instructions. Use the recipe cards provided and/or other formats you have around.

2. Insert your cards, printed pages and other recipe formats into the French-message board-inspired pages. These pages accommodate recipes of all shapes and sizes, from small cards to full letter-size pages. Simply tuck them into the paper flaps on the edges and interior of the page – no tape or glue required. When combining multiple recipes on a page, be sure they belong in the same category.

3. Snap the specially designed recipe tabs in each Recipe Binder, placing half into Binder #1 (from "appetizers+beverages" to "fish+seafood") and the remaining tabs in Binder #2. If you have a category of you own to add, write it on the blank tab provided.

3. Sort your recipes into the appropriate tabbed categories.

4. Use the top tab and measurement equivalent tab as a bookmark.

5. Finally, add the menu planner pages. These pages can be loose or snapped into the front of your binder. Use them to plan a week's worth of meals as you browse your favorite recipes. Write down the recipes you intend to make for each day, then write the ingredients you'll need on the attached shopping list. When you're done planning, detach the shopping list and take it along when you go for groceries.

6. When the week is through, recycle the old menu planner page and start again fresh.
